This Privacy Policy describes how the Academic Management System ("SGA", "we"), operated by Iglesia del Nazareno Chile, collects, uses, and protects the information of those who use our web and mobile applications (collectively, the "Application"), intended for students, teachers, and coordinators.

1. Information We Collect

We collect and process the following data:

  • Identification data: full name, RUT (Chilean national identification number), email address, and profile picture (avatar).
  • Account data: login credentials (username/password) or, if you choose to authenticate with Google, the identity token Google provides us to verify your identity.
  • Academic data: enrolled courses, grades, attendance, academic program progress, class schedules, and teacher data associated with your courses.
  • Technical data: session tokens (access and refresh) required to keep you securely logged in.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To authenticate your identity and keep your session active.
  • To show you relevant academic information based on your role (student, teacher, or coordinator).
  • To allow coordinators and teachers to track the academic progress of the students under their supervision.
  • To fulfill internal administrative and educational purposes.

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell it to third parties.

3. Who We Share Information With

  • Google: if you choose to sign in with Google, Google processes your authentication in accordance with its own privacy policy.
  • We do not share your data with advertisers, social networks, or third-party analytics services. The Application does not integrate any analytics or advertising tracking tools.

4. Storage and Security

In the mobile application, session tokens and basic profile data are stored encrypted on the device using the operating system's native secure storage (Keychain on iOS / Keystore on Android). All other academic information is fetched in real time from our servers and is not permanently stored on the device. All communication between the Application and our servers is encrypted (HTTPS).

5. Children's Data

SGA is used by educational institutions and may include data of student minors, managed under the responsibility and authorization of the corresponding educational institution. Parents or legal guardians who wish to review, correct, or request the deletion of a minor student's data may contact us using the contact information provided below.

6. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at the email address provided at the end of this document. We will respond to your request within a reasonable timeframe.

7. Changes to This Policy
